MINIATURE SHOOTING

MOSGIEL CLUB There was a good attendance at the Mosgiel Miniature Rifle Club's weekly shoot. Good scores were returned by J. Borrie, J. Milne, and L. Smeaton with 78 off the rifle. The winners of the teams' badges were J. Borrie. J. Starkey, A. Salmon, and L. Smeaton. The scores for the week were as follows:—J. Borrie, J. Milne, L. Smeaton 78; A. Souter. D. Evans, R. Club's weekly shoot some good scores were registered, the best of which were as follows:—C. Gillan 80, S. Wall 80, L. Beck 79, H. Austin 79, R. Graham 78, D. Watson 78. E. Hancox 74, I. Armishaw 72, M. Wyber 72, L. Wallis 72, W. Blagdon 75, G. Powell 71, Mesdames R. Graham 77, and M. Parsons 76, Misses E. Langford 72. and M. Graham 70. CROMWELL LADIES* CLUB At the weekly shoot of the Cromwell Ladies' Miniature Rifle Club scores were as follows:—Mrs Webb 77—2—79, Mrs Robertson 76—4—80, Mrs Nichol 74_12_80, Miss Campbell 73—6—79. Mrs Longman 70—7—77, Mrs Sanders 69—7—76. Miss Gordon 69—10—79. Mrs Johnston 68—12—80. Mrs Brown 68— 9—77. Miss Moody 64—7—71, Miss Bridgeman 62—14—76. Miss Meynell 60—10-70. Miss Mann 43—11—54. Mrs Webb won the Gold Button and Mrs Robertson the Silver Button. Mrs Sanders's trophv was won by Mrs T. Johnston with the highest aggregate for three nights.
