MAORI BAND ENGAGED Patrons ot the popular weekly oldtime and modern dance held at the Main Town Hall every Saturday night should be assured of an exceptionally good night's entertainment to-night Mr Dick Colvin'r Radio Band will supply the music for the modern dances and for the old-time dances Ellison's famous Maori band has been engaged Maori music has always been popular and those wh hear this band tonight ;hould get a musical treat Patrotit are reminder that the novice dancing competition, which was to have been held to-night, has been postponed until Saturday. May 27. Spectators will be admitted to the circle for a sma.ll charge. Particulars are advertised.
