LOCAL TALENT QUEST
DUNEDIN BOYS* CHANCE The Young Australian Boys, who are to commence a season at His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday, are now commencing another world tour, and New Zealand boys talented as musicians (violinists, cornetists, pianists, saxophonists, piano accordionists, etc.), and also singexs, elocutionists, dancers, and general entertainers, are invited to enter into a talent quest with a view to their possible inclusion in the Young Australians’ party. The first elimination trials will be held at the matinee of the Young Australians on Saturday, and boys wishing to enter are requested to send their names, ages, and address and information as to whether musician, singer, dancer, etc., addressed to the manager. Young Australians, His Mapesty’s Theatre, Dunedin. A prize valued £1 Is will be presented to the winner, members of the public being the judges. Entrants must not be more than 18 years of age. The finals will be held at the matinee on Tuesday, May 9. at 2.15 p.m. Boys from Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, it is stated, have already been included in the Young Australians’ Company.
