RACIAL THEORIES

RIDICULED BY AMERICA “ PURE SCIENTIFIC FAKING ” CRITICISM OF GERMANY (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) NEW YORK, Feb. 13. Ridiculing Nazi racial theories as “ pure scientific faking,” the Secretary of Agriculture, Mr Henry Wallace, in a Lincoln birthday celebration speech, made the most outspoken criticism of Germany since Mr Ickes’s speech at Cleveland last December. He deplored the treatment which great scientists had received in totalitarian States, where they were exiled or put in concentration camps while “ others who call themselves scientists were willing to play the dictator’s game by twisting science into a mumbojumbo of dangerous nonsense m order to teach that the German race and nation is superior to all others, thus implying that Germany has the right to dominate all others.”
