RIOTING IN CAWNPORE

MOSLEMS AND HINDUS A CURFEW ENFORCED CAWNPORE, Feb. .13. Rioting was renewed. The police fired on the mob. Thirty-five people were injured, including the British police superintendent. It is estimated that 40 have been killed and 400 injured since the rioting began on February 11. A curfew has been enforced, and the military authorities have been ordered to shoot without a permit. Six hundred were arrested during the week-end rioting. Further clashes occurred this morning, and four cases of arson were reported. Business is at a standstill.
