ADMISSIONS TO AUSTRALIA FIGURES FOR LAST YEAR CANBERRA, Feb. 9. Australia lost 566 British-born residents and gained 4640 Southern Europeans last year, according to figures released by the Commonwealth Statistician. The gains in Southern Europeans included 2747 Italians, 922 Greeks, and 642 Jugoslavs. The gain in German population was 1713.
