AUSTRALIAN SINGLES TITLE RESULTS OF QUARTER-FINALS MELBOURNE, Jan. 25. (Received Jan. 25, at 11 p.m.) In the Australian lawn tennis championships to-day the quarterfinals of the Men’s Singles resulted as follows; Quist defeated. L. Brodie 6—3, 6 6—B, 6—3. Bromwich defeated D. Turnbull 7 5, 6—l, 6—o. Crawford defeated Gilchrist 4—6, 6—4, 2—6, 6—3, 6—4. ' McGrath beat Hopman 6—2, .4—6, 6—4, 6—3.
