POSSIBILITY OF ATTACK RETIRING GENERAL’S APPEAL WINNIPEG, Jan. 24. Major-general E. Cashton, the retiring chief of the Canadian army, declared that in the event of war no doubt the Canadian coasts would be subject to attack, most likely by shipborne aircraft. He appealed to employers to do more to encourage enlistment and military training.
