TWO MEN SENTENCED ; i UNLAWFUL CONVERSION OF j A CAR (Per United Press Association) i j WELLINGTON, Jan. 25. Two men who were concerned in the unlawful conversion of a car in the Lfutt Valley, and who were the principals in a chase by a police car at 70(1 miles an hour through the city streets on' January 17, were dealt with by Mr J. H. Luxford, S.M., to-olay. He did not differentiate between 1 them as to who was the driver and who was the passenger, and imposed terms of six months’ imprisonbnent. He said that obviously only one could drive at a time. The mfcn were Harold Beggs, aged 34, and j Conrad Thomas Netting, aged 29. Both were described as labourers.
