The motto was “ Bear ye one another’s burdens,” and the roll call “Insects I most dislike, and why.” An instructive demonstration on tapestry was given by Miss E. Paton (Enfield), and Mrs Hunter gave a short talk on the work of the Women’s Division in the Auckland district. The competitions resulted:—Christmas cake—Miss P. Thompson 1, Mrs Duff 2, Mesdames Third and Dalzeil (equal) 3; bloom— Mrs Third 1. Mrs Dalzeil 2, Mesdames McClea and Morrison (equal) 3. Mrs Verran was the hostess.
