(Received Jan. 13, at 6.30 p.m.) Their Majesties and Queen Mary have given their final approval to the design of the memorial to George the Fifth, which is to be erected on a site adjacent to Westminster Abbey. The architect for the scheme, the central feature of which is a statue under a stone canopy, is Sir Giles Scott, and the statue is by Sir William Dick.
