TOWN HALL DANCE

To-day new dances are being introduced in rapid succession. They enjoy wide popularity for a while, but when another dance makes its appearance they are soon forgotten. “ Log Cabins ” have given way to the “Palais Glide” and the “Lambeth Walk.” The lastmentioned. though very popular a few weeks ago. is now giving way to the “ Blackpool Walk.” which will be introduced to. patrons of the Town Hall dance to-night, when a learners' session will be given free between ? and 8 o’clock. The instructors will be Miss Betty Anderson and Mr Jack Robinson. Mr Alex. Swann’s band of seven players will supply the music for the dance programme, with the radio vocalist, Mr James MacFarlane, at the microphone. Next Saturday night the new dance, the “Yam.” will be Introduced.
