Notice is hereby given that the Dunedin City Council proposes, at its meeting to be held on Monday, the 30th day of January, 1939, at 8.15 o’clock p.m., to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £II,OOO for the purpose of making additions to the Tramway Buildings, Market street, and purchasing Motor Omnibuses. The said loan comprises portion of the unissued balance of a loan of £IOO,OOO authorised in 1924. The security for the whole loan of £IOO,OOO is a Special Rate of two pence (2d) in the pound (£) on the rateable annual value of all r&teable property in the City of Dunedin.
