CITY COUNCIL NOTICES J)UNEDIN CITY COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN. Notice is hereby given that the Dunedin City Council proposes, at its meeting to be held on Monday, the 30th day of January, 1939, at 8.15 o’clock p.m., to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £II,OOO for the purpose of making additions to the Tramway Buildings, Market street, and purchasing Motor Omnibuses. The said loan comprises portion of the unissued balance of a loan of £IOO,OOO authorised in 1924. The security for the whole loan of £IOO,OOO is a Special Rate of two pence (2d) in the pound (£) on the rateable annual value of all r&teable property in the City of Dunedin. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Dunedin City Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting. R. A.
