CONSTRUCTION IN WELLINGTON LARGEST BLOCK IN COUNTRY (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. Floor coverings, electric light fittings, doors, and everything movable in the Arcadia Hotel were sold by auction yesterday, and while the auctioneer was still on the job, preparations were being made for the demolition of the structure to enable the erection of additions to the State Fire buildings which, with the new Government offices now under way, will be the largest block of State buildings in the country.
