FLEMING.—On January 12, 1939, at his residence, 32 Helena street, South Dunedin, John, dearly beloved husband of the late Mary Anne Fleming; aged 76 years. R.I.P. Requiem Mass at St. Bernadette's Church, Forbury, on Saturday, January 14, at 9 a.m.—The Funeral will leave the church on Saturday at 11 a.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Cole and Son, funeral directors. HAINES.—On January 2, 1939, at Manly District Hospital, New South Wales, Robert Thorn Haines, S.R.P.S., late of Prospect street, Waverley, New South Wales, Australia, and second son of the late John E. Haines, Queenstown: aged 75 years.

Agnes Ingram, beloved wife of the late Robert Melkle.— The Funeral will leave the above residence, To-day (Friday), tKe 13th Inst., at 2 p.m., for the Anderson's Bay Cemetery. —Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. MEWHINNEY.—On January 12, 1939, at her residence, Fulton road, Leith Valley, Margaret, widow of William C. Mewhinney, and beloved mother of Mrs E. Jackson, Letitia M., and Joshua C. MUNRO.—At Christchurch, on January 11, 1939, Josephine (Jo), beloved wife of Thomas Munro, Springfield Hotel, late of Kaikorai, Dunedin, and only daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Smith, Christchurch: aged 28. PARKER.—On January 12, 1939, at Dunedin, Henry Alfred, dearly beloved husband of the late Lydia Parker, of Lower Portobello; aged 75 years. “At rest."—The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 260 King Edward street, South Dunedin, on Saturday, January 14. at 2 p.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Cole and Son, funeral, directors.
