SYDNEY WOOL SALES NEW RECORD FOR GREASY .MERINO . SYDNEY, Jan. 11. (Received Jan. 12, at 0.5 a.m.) At the wool sales to-day 11,280 bales were offered and 10,460 sold, while 794 were disposed of privately. The improvement noted yesterday was accentuated to-day, and the market can be quoted as from par to 5 per cent, higher. Greasy merino made a new record of 25 id for fiye bales from Yass.
