SWISS INDUSTRIES FAIR
DISPLAY OF WIDE RANGE OF PRODUCTS Switzerland, with her highlydeveloped industries, possesses a modern economic organisation, which permits of a rapid survey of the capacity and variety of industrial production and offers the best opportunities for starting business relations and obtaining orders. This institution, which was established in 1917, is the Swiss Industries Fair, Basle, and has developed from small beginnings to one of the best reputed of such fairs m Europe. ... , ~ The efforts of- the authorities of the fair tend more and more towards assisting the marketing of worldrenowned Swiss manufactures. Already to-day, for instance, the watchmaking trade has splendid goods to offer. The Swiss Watch Fair has developed into the biggest and most important display of the kind. Other leading Swiss industries, for example, the machinery, electricity, and 'textile industries, are also eminently represented at the Industries Fair. _ The exhibits are displayed ip 21 general groups and several special fairs. The buildings of the now wellknown annual exhibition in Basle are perfectly adapted to their purpose. Switzerland's industrial products are expected to meet with an increasing demand on the international market, and hence a visit to the twenty-third Swiss Industries Fair. Which will be held from March 18 to 28, would really be the most practical way to the Swiss markets.
