WEATHER IN DUNEDIN There was a considerable improvement in the weather in Dunedin yesterday morning, the sky being clear and the wind moderate from the southwest. Cloud banks commenced to form about mid-day. however, and light showers fell at intervals during the afternoon and evening. The morning was fine, but during the afternoon the sky clouded over, and a light southerly wind turned to the north at mid-day. The minimum temperature last night was 41.6 deg and the maximum to-day 65.1 deg. At 3.30 D.m. the barometer registered 29.820 m. CHRISTCHURCH. Jan. 11. The day was fine.in Christchurch today except for a light shower in the late afternoon. The morning was sunny, with a light south-westerly wind, but th_e afternoon was dull, and the wind changed to a strong easterly. The maximum temperature was 63.2 deg.
