TOWN HALL DANCE

To-day new dances are being introduced in rapid succession. They enjoy wide popularity for a while, but when a new dance makes its appearance they are soon forgotten. " Log Cabins " have given away to " Palais Glide" and "The Lambeth Walk." The last mentioned, though very popular a few weeks ago, is now giving way to the " Blackpool Walk, which will be introduced to patrons of the Town Hall dance on Saturday night, when a learners' session will be given free between 7 and 8. o'clock. The instructors will be Miss Betty Anderson and Mr Jack Robinson. Mr Alex Swann's band of seven nlayorf will supply the music for the dance programme, with the radio vocalist, Mr James MacFarlane, it the microphone.
