NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP ■.Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 10. The winner of the North Island Open Croquet Championship is Captain F. Hartnell, of New Plymouth, who to-day defeated A. J. Gibbs, of Patea, after a keen contest on the Remuera green. The first two games were even, but Captain Hartnell won the deciding game fairly easily.
