SCOUT JAMBOREE

THE OFFICIAL CLOSING REMARKABLE SCENES SYDNEY, Jan. 9. The Australian and New Zealand jamboree ended last night, when there were remarkable farewell scenes. Ten thousand Scouts linked arms and danced back and forth in the arena, singing “ Auld Lang Syne.” One hundred and ten thousands people visited the jamboree during the week. The New Zealand contingent will remain in camp for some days. The first partv will sail on January 13 and the second contingent a week later.
