DANCING IN TOWN HALL
URGE CROWD PRESENT The enthusiasm oi local dancers who patronise the weekly entertainment in the Main Town Hall was in no way dampened by the boisterous weather on Saturday night. There was one r. f the largest crowds seen in the ballroom for a long time, and an enjoyable programme was presented by Mr Alex Swann and his orchestra. At the microphone was Mr James MacFarlane. who acted as vocalist besides carrying out the duties of M.C. Carnival novelties were again distributed and lent a happy atmosphere to the attractively decorated ballroom. Among Those Present Among those present were:— Mesdames A, V, Walker, black velvet; W.
