PROVISION IN A WILL BURIAL OF RETURNED SOLDIER PERTH, Jan. 8. Following the burial of a returned soldier, Mr E. H. Coleman, it was announced by a comrade that the deceased’s will stipulated that all persons attending the funeral should be provided with two pints of beer at the expense of Mr Coleman’s estate. Accordingly, about 30 of the 60 mourners adjourned to the nearest hotel and fulfilled the terms of the will. The consumed beer was valued at 30s. Mr Coleman served in the South African War and the Great War.
