MEXICO ADMONISHED

BY PRESIDENT S SON THE OIL EXPROPRIATION NEW YORK. Dec. 27. (Received Dec. 27, at 10.30 p.m.) Mr Elliott Roosevelt, the president’s son, in a radio address from Texas, admonished Mexico concerning expropriation. “It is obvious that something must be done. Mexico has acted but the United States has not begun to act. Our good neighbour policy apparently is not enough. Until Mexico makes overtures for friendship I for one must subscribe to the theory that actions speak louder than words.” He gave a warn mg that it would be for the good of Mexico if she invited representatives from the nations affected to work out a settlement of the oil and land expropriations.
