RECORD BOOKINGS BUSY DAY AT RONGOTAI (Pkr United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. A further increase in the record number of holiday bookings experienced this year bv the commercial air lines operating in New Zealand has necessitated the Cook Strait Airways arranging for additional extra services between Wellington and Blenheim on Saturday In spite of the majority of the services being more than trebled on Saturday, which will be the airways busiest day three more trips will be made fro- Blenheim to Wellington and return Saturday will be the busiest day ir the history of the Rongotai Aerodrome, Wellington, and, if the services are flown as scheduled, a new record will be established for the number of commercial aircraft using a New Zealand aerodrome one day. The addition of three more services to the Cook S' ’ait Airways, which has already an enlarged programme, will mean that 29 airliners will arrive at Rongotai on Saturday and 29 will denari Of the ’ machines, five of the arrivals will be Lockheed Electras operated by Union Airways of New Zealand, Limited, and the remainder will be Cook Strait Airways machines.
