THE GERMAN NAZI PARTY DISSENSION INCREASING REMOVAL OF FANATICS RECKONING NOT FAR. DISTANT (United Press Association) (By Electric relpsraph Copyright! LONDON, Dec. 20. The Associated Press says it is evident that the conflict between the extremists and moderates among the Nazis is becoming increasingly acute, and it is thought that a reckoning is not far distant. According to reports, the worldwide indignation at the pogrom has resulted in a strong movement by powerful interests for the removal of the worst fanatics. Criticism has certainly been more open than at any time previously. Influential circles In London are receiving numerous letters from Germany expressing extraordinarily bold condemnation, and rumours of an impending purge are becoming increasingly strong. It is slated that the position of Dr Goebbels, Herr Himmler and Herr von Ribbentrop is threatened. Herr Hitler is not aware of the extent to which Dr Goebbels and his confederates carried the Jewish measures. It is also stated that the Fiihrer was deliberately misled. He now spends most of his time in the seclusion of Berchtesgaden.
