A competition was won by Mrs Dalziel, after which a game of " musical backs" was played. The competitions resulted: — Gooseberries —Mrs Kennedy 1, Miss P. Thompson 2. Mrs Dalziel 3; bloom—Mrs Morrison 1. Mrs Venan 2. Mrs McLea 3. The hostesses were Mesdames Searle and McLea. ¥ ¥ ¥ At the finai meeting for the year of the Bannock'ourn branch Mrs Smith gave a report on Country Women's Week. The hostesses were Mesdames Crombie, Smith, and Parcell. ?• ¥ ¥ A pleasant afternoon party for members and friends of the Omakau branch was given by Mrs J. Charles at her residence, " Brookdale." The younger folk played tennis, while others enjoyed competitions. After a delightful tea Mrs Charles presented Miss Buddie (A.C.E. tutor) with a Madeira suppercloth on the occasion of her approaching marriage. Miss Buddie, in acknowledgment, made mention of her happy associations among the different clubs.
