Ninety major works, including new schools, additions to schools, teachers' residences, assembly halls and dental clinics have been authorised by the Education Department, and are y.t to be commenced in the Auckland Education Board district. One of the largest works consists of the replacement of the secondary department of the Morrinsville High School, and other important additions to educational facilities of the large district controlled by the board are new schools to replace the present Mount Eden, Newton West, Mount Albert and Hamilton West Schools.
