EUROPEAN REFUGEES
ADMISSION TO AUSTRALIA GOVERNMENT’S DECISION CANBERRA, Dec. 1. (Received Dec. 2, at 0.30 a.m.) The Commonwealth Government has decided to admit 15,000 European refugees over three years. Only those classes whose entry would not disturb existing labour conditions and individuals with capital and experience to establish and develop industries will be given special consderation. Legislation is being introduced in the Senate immediately containing drastic provisions for the registration of aliens in Australia.’
