PARTY OF CHINESE WOMEN AND CHILDREN BOUND FOR SUVA (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 28. A blaze of colour provided by; the picturesque costumes of 21 Chinese women and children lent a touch of the Orient to the Niagara, which arrived to-day. The Chinese are travelling from Hongkong to join their husbands and fathers at Suva. The party is accompanied by Yee Hiy Shang, a prominent storekeeper of Suva, his wife, and two children. The party from China represents the wives and children of Shang's employees at Suva. " Business is good m Hongkong," Yee Hiy Shang said. "The place is, of course, crowded with people from the mainland. My people are confident that they will win the war, but we have no more news about what is happening than you get in the cablegrams."
