Anderson, Armagh street. « * « Mrs Ambrose Hudson is visiting Christchurch, and will later spend a holiday in the North Island. if. * * Mrs Hunter-Weston has returned from a visit to Lake Tekapo, and has as her guest Mrs Purcell HunterWeston. ;;. * %• Mrs Dora Smeaton will leave to-day for Auckland, where she will meet her mother, Mrs Richard Hudson, who is arriving later in the month by the Strathmore from England. * * * Among those visiting Christchurch for the New Zealand Cup meeting are Mrs R. G. Hudson, Mrs Arthur Barnett and Miss Joy Barnett, Mrs Alexander Duncan and Mrs E. H. Ferguson. ¥ # Recent guests at Vaila Guest House at Moeraki include: Mrs A. Dune Mr and Mrs J. Baker and child. King (Christchurch) * * * Something outstanding in the way of entertainment will be offered by the pupils of Miss Anita Winkel at their annual end-of-the-year production on Saturday, November 19 (afternoon and evening). The children will combine in unusual action choruses and in scenes from the play " Peter Pan, the frocking in the latter being particularly attractive.
