SUNDAY SERVICES

At Knox Church to-morrow the morning service will be conducted by the Rev. A. B. Kilroy, M.A., of St. Andrew's, Wellington, and the evening service by the Very Rev. Dugaid Macfarlane, D.D., ex-moderator of the Church of Scotland. At 2.30 p.m. a service for Gaelic-speaking people will be conducted by the Very Rev Dugaid Macfarlane, D.D., who is a delegate from the Church of Scotland to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand. At First Church the morning service will be conducted by the Right Rev. T. E. Riddle, moderator of the General Assembly. The quartet, "A Trinity of Blessed Light," will be sung. At 3 p.m. there will be a youth rally, conducted by the Rev. H. Davies. The evening service will be taken by the Rev. H. G. Gilbert. The evening music will include the duet "O Divine Redeemer," and the anthem "Bread of the World." Miss' Mavis Macdonald will be the organist. At the Maori Hill Presbyterian Church the morning service will be conducted by the Rev. Dr Fraser, and the evening service by the Rev. K. T. At the Greater World Mission, King street, the Rev. G. Brooks will take as a subject "Creeds, Dogmas: What Are They?" Clairvoyance and the usual prayer and healing circle will follow, with psychometry on Wednesday. Divine worship will be conducted at Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street, to-morrow morning by the Re v, A. E. Jefferson. In the evening the Rev. B. Metson will preach on the subject "We Would See Jesus." The anthem by the choir will be " The Sun Shall Be No More." A solo will be sung by Mrs B. Metson. The Rev. C. G. Hedley Bycroft will conduct the services at the United Congregational Church, Albany street, to-morrow. The morning subject wi'l be "Encouragement and Warning,' and in the evening "Pure and Undefined Religion." The soloist will be Mr Ivan Hanna. Communion will be held at the close of the evening service.

At the Spiritualist Church, St. Andrew street, to-morrow evening, Mr W. E. Reynolds will give an address entitled "The Value of Revelations." The Healing Centre will meet as usual on Monday evening. The Rev. J. Ewen Simpson will conduct both services at the Hanover Street Baptist Church. His subject in the morning will be "The Work of Our Hands," and in the evening "Springtime of the Soul." At the evening service the choir will render the anthem "Jesu. Grant Me This. I Pray." At the Congregational Church, Moray place, to-morrow, the Rev. J. H. Harris (late of the Clapton Congregational Church, England) will conduct both morning and evening services. At the evening service an augmented choir will render Challinois's cantata " Bethany," the soloists being Miss Estelle Burnard, Miss Margaret Green, Mr Rowland Dunbar, and Mr J. D. McKechnie. with Mrs H. C. Campbell at the organ . At St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church the preacher at the morning service will be the Rev. R. S. Watson, of Ashburton, and in the evening the Rev John Paterson, of Stratford. The soloist at the evening service will be Mrs Alex. Chisholm. At the Theosoohical Society. Mr J. A. Brailsford, 8.A., will speak on " Racial Distinctions—Truth and Myth, introducing the negro problem and Hitler's racial theories. The W.E.A. Drama Group will present scenes from Eugene O'Neill's play "All God's Chillun's Got Wings," a tragedy of negrowhite intermarriage.
