DE LUXE SKATING RINK
Three sessions will be held to-day »t the new De Luxe, Skating Rink, Filleul street, opposite the Town Hall —morning 10 to 12, afternoon 2.30 to 4 30; and an evening session from 7.30 to 10.45. Special attractions will be presented during the evening, and the talented duo, “Jack and Vida," will be seen in their death-defying act. “The Swing 'of Death and Somersault.” A representative hockey-on skates match will be played between Timaru and Otago, which should provide “ thrills.” The second heat or the “Sonja Henie Happy Lanaing' guinea Monte Carlo competition wil' be-decided, and also the Otago “ Grace ful Skating ” Partners Championship The supporting skating programme will Include gliding, waltzing twosteps, barn dance, trios, and fours. Spectators are advised that there is ample seating accommodation.
