MOTORIST ACQUITTED

SEQUEL TO FATAL ACCIDENT JURY POINTS OUT A DANGER (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 21. A verdict of not guilty was returned by the jury when the trial of Charles Bruce Pierson, a motor trimmer, aged 19, on a charge of negligently driving a motor car so as to cause the death of William Samuel Ridler, was concluded in the Supreme Court to-day. A rider was added by the jury that the position of the taxi-stand mentioned n the evidence was a 'anger to traffic using the road. Mr Justice Ouilliam promised to convey thfe representation to the proper quarter.
