MOTOR CYCLIST FINED

CHARGE OF INTOXICATION (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 14. Convicted of being intoxicated in charge of a motor cycle, Harold Jarvis, a masseur, was fined £5 and had his licence cancelled for six months. A constable was told that the accused had a motor cycle on which was liquor in the entrance to the Trades Hall. The constable told him to remove the motor cycle to the road, and warned him not to ride The accused took it on to the road, tried to get it on to its stand, and, failing to do that, sat in the saddle, switched on the lights, and tried to start it, but was unable to do so, and was arrested.
