RESULTS OF EXAMINATIONS CANDIDATES’ WORK OUTSTANDING <Peb United Press Association) AUCKLAND. Oct. 14. The following are the results of the associate and full membership examinations of the New Zealand Fire Brigade Officers and Members’ Institute, conducted at Auckland, Pukekohe. Hamilton, Hawera, New Plymouth. Palea. Pahiatua and New Brighton. D. M. Walker (Birkenhead) headed the list for associate membership with 314 marks out of a possible 320 J. A. Maule (Patea) was second, with 312, and A W Goodwin (New Plymouth) third, with 307 A W A. Crook (Auckland) was the highest in the full membership examination, with 277 marks out of a possible 300 The examiners. Superintendent Wilson and T J Watts, of Auckland, said that the work of the leading candidates was outstanding, and that it was intended to publish some of the papers to the brigades.
