FORESTERS

The fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise was presided over by C.R. Bro. Stevenson, All officers were present, and a satisfactory number of floor members. The' woodward’s report of the sick members was again satisfactory, a good number having'declared off the funds. The treas.-sec reported having visited P.D.C.H. Bro. W. Ibbotson and Bro. S. Wills, and found both of them improved. One maternity claim was received and passed for payment. A letter was received from Court St. Andrew, and no action was taken regarding the matter, A notice was received from the Syllabus Committee secretary for 1939 requesting the attendance of two delegates. P.C.R, Bro. Brettell and C.R. Bro. Stevenson were selected to represent the court at the meeting. The secretary was instructed to send a letter of sympathy to Court Pride of Dunedin, which had suffered another severe loss by the death of P.C.R. Bro Payton, the acting secretary. P.C.R. Bro. Benfell reported on the visit to Court Little John’s banquet, and also on the meeting of Court Excelsior. P.C.R. Bro. Brettell reported on the visit to Courts Pride of the Leith’s Scotch night. The min. sec. reminded members of the anniversary on October 26. The court closed early to enable the officers and members to attend Court Little John’s meeting.
