DE LUXE RINK

Patrons of the new De Luxe Skating Rink, Filleul street, will hear the election results as they come through tonight. Three sessions will be held today—Morning, 10 to 12; afternoon, 2.30 to 4.30; and extended evening session from 7,30 to 10.45. During the evening New Zealand’s outstanding professional skater (Mr R. Smith) will present his novelty skating act, “The Flaming Torch.” Another attraction will be the Otago championships. The final of the ladies’ graceful skating championship and the final of the men’s half-mile speed championship will be decided to-night A further attraction will be the "Mystery Train,” a new skating novelty. Tna skating programme will embrace trios, figure-8 fours, London swing, waltzing, barn dance, two-step, gliding, and Paul Jones. The' rink is open daily from 10.30 a.m. There is a special learners’ class from 5.30 to 6.45 p.m. (Monday to Friday). Private tuition may also be arranged.
