The duties of the position are as follows: (a) To inspect public hospitals, more particularly in regard to administration on the medical side, the standard of clinical medical work, and the adequacy of accommodation and equipment. (b) To advise regarding extensions and additions at public hospitals, and to assist in the preparation of sketch plans in connection therewith. (c) To report and advise on surgical and nursing technique in public hospitals. (d) Generally to assist in all or any of the activities of the Hospital Division of the Department of Health.
