WAIKOUAITI RACING CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING The president (Mr P. Toomey) presided over a large gathering of members of the Waikouaiti Racing Club at the annual meeting, held on Saturday evening. One of the principal features of the report of a very satisfactory year is that a large sum in debentures had been redeemed, reducing the original amount to much less than half the original figures, the sum of £250 was also allowed for depreciation of property. Mr K. *B. Ferguson was elected to the committee and Mr Higgins appointed treasurer. All other officers and members of the committee were re-elected and several new members elected.
