3000 MILES BY COACH
NEW ZEALANDERS' TOUR DELIGHTED WITH COUNTRYSIDE (From Our Own Correspondent) (By Air Mail) LONDON, Aug. 8. Travelling by motor coaches, over 3000 miles have been covered by the party of New Zealanders being escorted on a tour of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales by Mr Thomas Ritchie, of Dunedin. The visitors, the majority of whom were seeing the Old Country for the first time, were charmed and delighted by the countryside. They declared it to be far more picturesque than they had ever imagined. Wales, particularly, surprised them, with its rural beauty. The party returned to London this week, and will leave for the Continent. After seeing Paris, they will travel 2000 miles by motor coach through some of the best scenery that France and Switzerland have to offer. The party so much appreciated MiRitchie's arrangements on their behalf that, on reaching London', they, presented him with a suitcase and pocket wallet. Mr Ritchie thinks of returning via Panama.
