BRIGHTON DOMAIN BOARD
MONTHLY MEETING At the monthly meeting of the Brighton Domain Board the following members were present: Mr W. J. Bell (in the chair), Messrs Stevenson, Baker, Bennett, Griffiths, Hobbs, Thornley, and Waldreri. Accounts to the value of £l7 14s lOd were passed for payment. ..... Mr Griffiths reported that tne new work of fencing on the Domain was now completed, also the levelling of the area at Fagan’s bridge. It was decided to erect a fence in Beach street to prevent sand from drifting on to the parking area. It was decided to erect two additional 600-gallon tanks. The board decided to make further improvements to the hockey ground, and considered having sports on the Domain during the holiday. season. A committee was appointed to go into the matter.
