AUCKLAND AIRPORT
PRELIMINARY SURVEY UPPER REACHES OF MANUKAU HARBOUR (Per United Press Association*: AUCKLAND, Aug. 31. An immediate start is to bemad* with the preliminary survey investigations on the site on the upper reaches of Manukau Harbour chosen as the location for the proposed Auckland airport. This decision was made at a conference of interested metropolitan local bodies at the Town Hall.
