WOMEN'S DIVISION N.Z. FARMERS' UNION

Reports of meetings ol branches are requested, but they should be furnished promptly for the publication of reports that are not supplied within a week from the date of the meeting cannot be oromised.

The August meeting of the Cromwell branch was held on Thursday last, the president, Mrs J S. Ritchie, being in the chair. It was decided to send a parcel of goods for Christmas cheer to the Makogai Leper Fund, and each member was asked to bring something for next meeting. Another parcel of goods will be ordered from the Returned Soldiers' Rehabilitation League. The hostesses were Mesdames R. Thomas and W. Brown.
