SCOTTISH SOCIETY

ANNUAL SOCIAL The eighth annual social and dance of the Scottish Society of Dunedin (Inc.} was held last evening. There was an attendance of about 200. and the patron of the society, Mr John McDonald, presided. The Council of Scottish Societies was represented by Mr J. Findlay. vice-president. The principal item of the social was an entertaining address by Mr W. R. Brugh descriptive of his recent tour through Scotland. Songs were sung by Mr Lionel Powell and Miss Dorothy Darracott, and Piper W. Milne gave a bagpipe solo. A dance was held at the conclusion of the social.
