LAUNCH LOST AT SEA
DRUM OF PETROL FOUND ALL HOPE ABANDONED BRISBANE, Aug. 27. The finding of a drum of petrol from the Dorisana appears to put beyond doubt the fate of the launch, and all hope of finding the Armitagp family and Brake has been abandoned. The launch Dorisana left Mackay for Percy Island a fortnight ago. On board were Mr Percy Armitage and his wife and two children (aged eight and ten years) and Mr Leslie Brake, an adult.
