BURRELL MEMORIAL CUP The Dunedin Coursing Club held a successful meeting on Saturday at Forbury Park, the occasion being the Burrell Memorial Cup. The ground was in good order, and the hares were well trained, resulting in some fine courses being witnessed The iudging and slipping, which wore in the capable hands of Mr A, L. Mitchell and Mr J, Marks respectively, were .of a high order, These gentlemen were afterwards complimented on the good work they had done All officials worked hard to make the meeting successful The following were the results of the meeting BURRELL MEMORIAL CUP First Round.—Gay Blond beat Just Jim, Big Smoke beat GiLflllan’s Queen. While Worry beat Bov’s Worry, Haakawai beat Wilga’s Worry, Fairy Divot beat No Go. Nighthawk a bye. Second Round.—Big Smoke beat Gay Blond Haakawai beat White Worry, Fairy Divot beat Nighthawk. Third Round. —Big Smoke beat Haakawai, Fairy Divot a bye. Final—Mr J. Wilson's I d Fairy Divot (Divot’s Pride—Fairy Terms). Dunedin, beat Mr D. J. Donell's b and w d Big Smoke, n.s.
