OTAGO CUB A flag match was played on the Balmacewen links on Saturday, there being separate competitions for A and B grade players. J. T. McCorkindale (handicap 10) proved the winner in the A grade section, and the B grade section was won by S. L. Wilson (handicap 16). Both these players had several strokes in hand after completing the rounds, and thev just failed to hole out at the nineteenth. Toomey 49—12—37, V. Simpson 49 —12—37. ST. CLAIR CLUB The A Grade section of the single Stableford bogey competition, which was played under perfect conditions, was won by W. D. McKenzie 32+7 —39, followed by C. B. Wight 36+1—37. J. F. Cardno 24+11 —35, and N. N. Allen 17+18—35 tied for first place in the B Grade section.
