ALBANY The University A-Albany match was played at the Oval, which was in reasonably good order, and was a fast, well-contested game throughout. Though Albany did not succeed in scoring, the University defence was soundly tested from time to time. Ryeburn found another opening shortly after. The second half a repetition of the first, University’s attacks being more penetrating than those of Albany. Densem, in goal for Albany, had plenty of work to do, and gave a fine exhibition. Alldred added another goal and looked like scoring again, but had to flick the ball m’ound Boocock to B. Ryeburn,. who took advantage of Densem’s rush towards Alldred to send the ball into the open goal, The game finished: University A .. 4 goals Albany Nil Messrs H. Sew Hoy and T. N.
