AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL
An experiment in education which he had seen in Australia recently and which, he suggested, might be tried in England was described by Earl de la Warr. Lord Privy Seal, in his presidential address to the annual conference of the Agricultural Economics Society at Oxford It was a combination of secondary school, farm institute and agricultural college for pupils of 14 to 18 years, and included general with special instruction. "Ask any Dane." he said " where lies the secret of Danish agricultural efficiency and he will tell you 'in the high school.' That was an institution in Britain where little or no agricultural instruction was given." _^_____________
